Each capsule of NSP Acidophilus contains 420 mg and a minimum of 100,000,000 counts of a pure strain of hardy, viable Lactobacillus acidophilus, a "friendly" symbiotic homo-fermentative lactic acid-producing bacteria. Acidophilus helps regulate the intestinal tract. Since many people are vegetarian or cannot tolerate dairy products, NSP Acidophilus is milk-free. This strain, grown in a special pure medium containing soy protein and other natural non-dairy nutrients, is freeze-dried to preserve viability. Each capsule is designed to help populate the intestinal tract and has a "modified release" coating so the contents will not be released until they reach the intestinal tract. For best results, use before the expiration date shown on the label.
Recommended use: Take one or two capsules daily with a meal. Keep product refrigerated or frozen.
